Warehouse Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our building materials company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and safe storage, handling, and distribution of building materials.

Responsible For

Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely and accurate cycle counting
Supervise warehouse staff and ensure that all safety and security protocols are followed
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations
Manage and track the flow of materials in and out of the warehouse using various technologies and tools
Optimize warehouse operations to increase efficiency and productivity
Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure consistent and accurate operations
Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers
Develop and implement plans for emergency situations and crisis management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, with experience in the building materials industry preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Proficient in warehouse management systems, inventory management, and transportation management Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in a warehouse setting Ability to effectively manage and motivate teams Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency and productivity.
